Agenda - Updated on August 11! Abstracts

The 2005 New Zealand Mudsnail in the Western USA Conference will be held on the campus of Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana.  Bozeman is a small city (population about 38,000) located in southwest Montana just 90 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Bozeman is located in the scenic Gallatin Valley and is within a half hour drive to many of the regions best and well known trout fisheries, including the Madison, Gallatin, and Yellowstone Rivers.  Montana State University is a small land grant university (approx. 10,000 students) where students have the oppurtunity to conduct research in one of the last intact ecosytems, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The New Zealand Mudsnail Conference will provide scientists, managers, researchers, and interested conservation groups the opportunity to share and discuss their latest findings and concerns about this invasive species.  The conference is free of charge but donations will be accepted.
