New Zealand Mudsnail Collection Report (Part 1)
The first step is to enter the position data for a positive collection site.
This can be entered as decimal degrees, degrees and decimal minutes, or degrees, minutes and decimal seconds.
Input to the nearest whole second is accurate to about 40 m in the central USA.
In this form, all input is considered positive and additive.
You can use Graphical Locater to help find, verify and convert location data.
The target accuracy is about 100 meters.
This form is intended for positions within the conterminous USA only.
Significant new records should also be reported directly to
the appropriate state contact person.
This may be done at this end also.
Any new HUC cateloging unit should be considered a "significant new record".
