AIM Special Lists
These list provide direct links to Montana area species that qualify
under each heading.
Species will normally be added only as they are reviewed so these list will
not be complete untill most of the species are covered.
Other persons are welcome to contribute their views.
Exotic Species
These are species that were brought into Montana by man, directly or
indirectly from other areas of North America.
Species of Concern
These species have their world distribution so limited that they could be
expected to easily removed from the planet by easily envisioned environmental impacts,
natural or manmade.
Species of Concern in Montana
These are species that occupy so little habitat in Montana that they could be
expected to easily removed from the state by easily envisioned environmental impacts,
natural or manmade.
