Greater Montana Area Base Maps
I created the following maps using my own programs and free, or inexpensive
USGS data.
They all use the same projection and they cover the same area
(103 to 117 West longitude and 42 to 49 North latitude).
All of these maps are 800 by 570 pixels in size.
If you see a feature of interest, try holding the position on the screen,
switch to the Graphical Locater hot image and then click in the best cell.
This will zoom in to a 1:100,000 scale map where you may click again to
identify location, nearby named places, elevations and 7.5 minute map names.
