Graphical Locater's state and HUC identification routines.
Over 20 million points were used in the analysis.
This approach could not be used for the Great Lakes or for some ocean bays
because off-shore state identifications are unavailable in Graphical Locater.
Note that 0.0% means some small, but non-zero amount of the state was detected in the HUC.
Some of the small values may in fact, be zero due to imperfections in the data for the borders.
This is especially true where the HUC borders and the state borders are the same.
These HUC's on the Idaho/Montana border were corrected by hand.
This is the only area in the country where HUC borders and state borders are the same over a great distance.
This seems unfortunate.
States are in alphabetical order.
HUCs are sorted by the percent of their area in the given state (alphabetical if tied).
A single HUC may occur in several states.
