National Wild Fish Health Database Instructions

There are only 2 ways to begin a query to the National Wild Fish Health Database, the single query form and the double query form. In either case you must acknowledge having read the data limitations page before proceeding.

Single Query

The single query form is appropriate for most simple queries.

Double Query

The double query form is almost identical to the single query except that 2 independent sets of query parameters are established. There is also an additional distance parameter for the second set of query parameters. The double query allows looking at 2 databases, 2 time frames, 2 sets of fish species, 2 sets of pathogens or 2 sets of any combination of these factors. The results of both queries are displayed together, but kept differentiated. Caution should be used when combining data from the Wild Fish Health Survey and the Historical Database. See the limitations page for more information.
